Weed

We have to give credit where credit is due, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta deserves enormous credit for admitting that he was wrong about marijuana. In this CNN special, Gupta takes you through the research that led him to change his mind about marijuana despite his previous opposition to it.

Kings of Cannabis

Released: 2013

If you don’t have Netflix, no problem -- this Vice documentary is free to watch on Youtube. Mostly set in Colombia, Kings of Cannabis takes a look at the South American marijuana export business.

In Pot We Trust

Release: 2007

Instead of the large scale view that most documentaries take, In Pot We Trust follows the lives of five chronically ill patients who have been prescribed medical marijuana.

CannaBiz

Released: 2010

Set in Grand Forks, British Columbia, Cannabiz digs into the local politics of a small Canadian town at the crossroads of legalization. If the Canadian underground cannabis industry interests you then check out this documentary.

Cannabis: A Lost History

Released: 2018

Chris Rice, The creator of Cannabis: A Lost History, gives this documentary a homemade feel while still giving you lots of interesting information about the history of marijuana in human cultures.

There’s tons of great video content out there about cannabis - this list, with only 10 of our favorites, certainly doesn’t cover it all. Hopefully it gives you a good place to start.

So put your feet up, have an edible (if it’s legal), and enjoy.
